Mastercam Wire programs wire EDM machines, covering 2-axis and 4-axis wire cutting for complex profiles, with the same chaining, simulation and verification tools used across Mastercam.
What Mastercam Wire does
Mastercam Wire includes Mastercam Design as its CAD foundation, plus 2-axis and 4-axis wire EDM programming for cutting complex profiles, including tapered and contoured cuts on 4-axis machines. Toolpaths are chained from wireframe or solid geometry, the same way as Mastercam's milling and turning modules.
